Kincardine’s Good Meals Field receives donation

A $1,000 donation has been made to the Good Meals Field program by the Knox Presbyterian Church in Kincardine.

The Good Meals Field program is operated by volunteers throughout Gray Bruce. It’s a collective shopping for program that gives a grocery bin of contemporary seasonal produce for under $20.

This donation will go in direction of the Neighbours to Neighbours Initiative, which permits businesses or people to buy Good Meals Packing containers for households in want. About 50 native households will profit from this donation alone.

Beginning November 7, pre-orders shall be accomplished at a brand new location. To order a Good Meals Field, you’ll be able to go to the UBC Native 2222 at 385 Queen Road South Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. till 4:30 p.m.

Pre-orders should be positioned by the third Thursday of the month. Pickup time would be the fourth Thursday of the month from 9:30 a.m. till midday on the Knox Presbyterian Church in Kincardine.

Pickup can be accessible in Ripley for many who point out it when ordering and pre-paying.  Pickup time is fourth Thursday of the month from 10:0 0.a.m until midday at 50 Park Road.
